June’s Wealth Building DIVAs meeting brought focus to one of the most important—yet often avoided—areas of business and life: money.
On June 6th, 2025, women gathered at Centennial Hall inside the Burlington Public Library, Central Branch for a morning centered on financial clarity, confidence, and forward planning. From the beginning, there was a sense of intention in the room, as attendees showed up ready to take a more proactive role in their financial future.
The discussion, “Five Money Questions for Women,” was led by Eugenia Phelan, who guided attendees through a series of thoughtful and practical questions designed to help identify personal financial goals and create a strategy to achieve them.
What made this session impactful was its ability to simplify something that often feels overwhelming. Rather than focusing on complex financial jargon, the conversation created space for clarity—helping attendees better understand where they are, where they want to go, and what steps they can take to get there.
As the discussion unfolded, women began to open up about their goals, challenges, and perspectives around money. The room shifted from uncertainty to empowerment, with many leaving the conversation feeling more confident and equipped to make intentional financial decisions.

Eugenia Phelan, Financial Advisor
Eugenia Phelan is a financial advisor who has been helping individuals build clear, attainable financial strategies since 2017. She joined Edward Jones in March 2024, where she continues to support clients in aligning their financial decisions with their long-term goals and values.
Her approach is centered on understanding where each client wants to be and creating a structured, sustainable path to help them get there. She works closely with individuals at every stage of life, providing guidance that prioritizes what matters most to them while ensuring access to strong tools, resources, and industry expertise.
Outside of her professional work, Eugenia is actively involved in her community, volunteering weekly with a local animal rescue. She also enjoys staying active, often spending time training and refining her boxing skills.
