October’s Wealth Building DIVAs meeting explored something many entrepreneurs experience—but rarely take the time to understand: stress, and how it impacts how we show up in business and in life.
On October 3rd, 2025, women gathered at Centennial Hall inside the Burlington Public Library, Central Branch for a morning focused on awareness, regulation, and personal well-being. With a slightly later start time, the pace of the meeting felt intentional—creating space for a deeper, more reflective conversation.
The discussion was led by Jennifer Song, who introduced attendees to the concept of regulating the body before the mind even has a chance to react. Through her session, participants were guided through a new way of understanding stress—specifically how the autonomic nervous system drives responses long before conscious thought comes into play.
What made this session stand out was how eye-opening it was. Rather than approaching stress from a surface-level perspective, the conversation provided insight into what’s happening beneath the surface and offered practical, natural techniques to help regulate those responses. Many attendees were introduced to ideas and approaches they had never encountered before, creating moments of realization throughout the discussion.
As the session unfolded, the room became more grounded and present. Conversations shifted from external pressures to internal awareness, allowing attendees to connect not only with one another, but also with themselves in a more meaningful way.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in a door prize draw, adding an extra element of anticipation and excitement to a morning centered on awareness, growth, and connection.
This wasn’t just a networking meeting—it was an opportunity to better understand how you operate under pressure and how to regain control. If you weren’t there, you missed a conversation that could change how you manage stress and show up in your business.
