July’s Wealth Building DIVAs meeting brought the focus back to a core skill that drives real business growth—intentional, relationship-driven networking.
On July 4th, 2025, women gathered at Centennial Hall inside the Burlington Public Library, Central Branch for a morning centered on building stronger, more meaningful business connections. The energy in the room was both welcoming and purposeful, as attendees came ready to refine how they connect, communicate, and grow their networks.
The discussion, “Mastering the Art of Professional Networking: Proven Strategies to Build Meaningful Business Relationships,” was led by Juanita Heidebrecht. Drawing from both experience and insight, she guided the group through practical strategies that go beyond surface-level introductions and into building connections that actually lead to opportunity.
What made this session stand out was its relevance. Networking is something many people do—but not always effectively. This conversation challenged attendees to be more intentional in how they approach conversations, follow-ups, and relationship-building. It highlighted the difference between simply meeting people and creating connections that are mutually beneficial and long-lasting.
