April’s Wealth Building DIVAs meeting offered something many entrepreneurs don’t realize they need—space to pause, reset, and reconnect with themselves.

On April 4th, 2025, women gathered at Centennial Hall inside the Burlington Public Library, Central Branch for a morning that blended meaningful conversation with personal well-being. Instead of focusing solely on external growth, this session turned inward—reminding everyone that sustainable success starts from within.

Led by Caren Sexton, the discussion introduced a powerful visual: seeing yourself as the trunk of a tree, with the branches representing the people you support and care for in your daily life. As attendees reflected on who those “branches” are, the conversation quickly became personal, grounding, and deeply relatable.

Through gentle guidance, participants were introduced to simple yoga and breathwork practices designed to create stillness, release tension, and restore energy. What made this experience stand out was its simplicity—small, intentional moments that can create a real shift in how you show up both personally and professionally.

The atmosphere in the room noticeably softened as the session unfolded. Conversations became more honest, the pace slowed, and attendees left not only with new connections—but with a renewed sense of balance and clarity.

This wasn’t just a networking event—it was a reset. And if you weren’t there, you missed a reminder that taking care of yourself is not separate from building your business—it’s essential to it.
