March’s Wealth Building DIVAs meeting brought a deeper level of connection—one that went beyond networking and into intentional relationship-building.

Held on March 7th, 2025, at Centennial Hall inside the Burlington Public Library, Central Branch, this gathering aligned perfectly with the spirit of International Women’s Day. The room was filled with thoughtful, driven women ready to not only connect—but to do so with purpose.

Led by Haze Schepmyer, the discussion “Practicing Supportable Habits for Personalized, Proactive Connecting” introduced a powerful framework centered around three essential circles in business: clients, colleagues, and community. Rather than approaching networking as a one-time interaction, the conversation shifted toward building sustainable, evolving relationships within each of these circles.

What made this session stand out was its depth. Attendees weren’t just exchanging business cards or quick introductions—they were reflecting on how they show up in their networks, where opportunities may be untapped, and how to create more intentional, forward-focused connections.

There was a noticeable shift in the room as the discussion unfolded. Conversations became more meaningful, perspectives broadened, and the value of being in a space like this became even more evident. By the time networking opened up, connections were already rooted in something stronger than surface-level conversation.

This was more than a meeting—it was a reminder that the right connections, built the right way, can move everything forward. If you weren’t in the room, you missed a conversation that could reshape how you approach your network.
